Piumaviola

We loved our few days in Parma in August at a PIUMAVIOLA Apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, the interior was lovely, and the location made it easy to explore the city on foot. A safe place to park the car was included. There are lots of great shops and restaurants within a 15-minute walk. We can really recommend this place!

For about €135 a night, I expected a lot more, especially at breakfast. It was poor quality with very little choice, and the explanation that it costs €6 doesn’t make that acceptable. Better not to charge for or offer breakfast at all. The room was a modern, adequate studio, but the bed was awful and uncomfortable. We both found the mattress uncomfortable independently, whatever its cost. The bathroom door was on rollers, kept sliding open, and had a huge gap around it, so there was no real privacy. That should have been fixed. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price.

Very comfortable, clean, and safe. Each apartment has three AC units and enough space for four people.

We stayed in room Parmigianino, which was cozy and nicely decorated, with a chic feel. Breakfast is served at the property, with lots of different food and delicious homemade pastries. The train station is less than a five-minute walk away, so you can sometimes hear trains, but it didn’t bother us or keep us from sleeping.
