Enrique was such a kind and helpful host, and the house dog quickly became our best friend. Villa Ghia is full of history, with a garden the owners look after beautifully. The rooms, bathroom, and breakfast were all perfect, and the big swimming pool was a great bonus. If you've got questions about Italy, Enrique is the person to ask. Thank you!!

The hosts went out of their way to make my stay great. While I was working a hectic job, this place felt like an ideal oasis, and Parma was still close by. And the dog! Such a beautiful friend to have during my stay.

Our friends a few hundred meters away suggested Villa Ghia, a lovely find tucked off the beaten track. Parma is nearby, as is the castle, and there's a fantastic trattoria about a five-minute drive down the road. The home is stunning, beautifully decorated and cared for by Enrique and his wife. Enrique was an incredible host, warm and full of interests if you get to know him. We swam in the pool in summer, the kids played with the dog, and he started our mornings with strong coffee and local Italian food. The grounds and accommodation were lovely, with amazing high ceilings in the rooms. If you're lucky, Enrique may show you some of the home's details, including the frescos in his office. We'd love to return. Thanks again, Enrique. Our kids will always remember your home.
