A pleasant place with a welcoming atmosphere and well-kept surroundings. The restaurant is enjoyable too, though a few small improvements there would bring the service up to a fourth star. I’d come back.

The staff were quick, friendly, kind, and helpful, and the prices felt very fair for the quality. It’s a simple, welcoming place with a lively atmosphere where you feel at home. I was thrilled with the food. The menu focuses on Roman classics, all cooked just right. I tried the saltimbocca and amatriciana, both with authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients. Great for a no-fuss lunch or dinner that still has plenty of flavor and tradition. Highly recommended!

Along the road from Fondo to the Mendel Pass, there’s a modest bar with a terrace. It’s used more by locals during the week, and the small restaurant menu isn’t displayed, so ask for it when you visit. The food is excellent and the price is great. Highly recommended.

Lucia was really kind and attentive when I had lunch here on Saturday. The gricia was excellent, and the saltimbocca was special. I had a really good meal.
