Piedmont is such a lovely region to explore, with gorgeous countryside all around. We really enjoyed the friendly feel and wonderful food at this sweet little “agriturismo”.
Lovely spot, with friendly staff and good food.
The homemade agnolotti were pure comfort, and we also loved the bonet bianco, a rare traditional recipe that apparently isn't found elsewhere. At Le Rondini, Giuseppina welcomed us by a crackling fire in the dining room and served several classic Piedmontese dishes made with local ingredients. The vitello tonnato, homemade cognà with Robiola di Cocconato, and garden giardiniera all deserve a mention. It's the sort of place that feels like eating at a friend's, aunt's, or mother's home, with an honest welcome and food made with care. There were two lovely desserts, fine wines made on the farm, and the owner's kindness left us full, relaxed, and pampered. This place is close to our hearts, and we'd recommend it to anyone who loves old-fashioned flavors and a convivial meal.
The food was high quality, and the service was what we expected. The lady was really kind. We'll come back.
