Bed & Breakfast Villa Trasimeno

Carmen and Luana are incredibly gracious hosts, and the cozy, tasteful B&B is thoughtfully put together to give guests a five-star experience. Each morning started with a generous breakfast of croissants, scones, fruit, eggs, juice, and plenty of coffee. Carmen drove us around in his Mercedes luxury van, planned efficient days, and took us to our chosen destinations, including places off the beaten path. He shared so much history, lore, and local insight, and even arranged surprise visits to shopkeepers and magnificent venues. On a Sunday, he picked up four of us from our Florence hotel, took us through Pisa and the Tuscany countryside on the way to the B&B, and added plenty of local color along the route. We were welcomed with a lovely evening toast and looked after for four days, including a lift to the airport. We paid extra only for souvenirs and €35 at a local winery. The all-inclusive price felt unbelievably fair. Make this your home base for visits to Italy. Carmen can take your group around destinations within about 200 km of the B&B.

We had such an amazing honeymoon at Carmen and Luana’s place, and can’t wait to go back. The food, service, and wine were wonderful. Carmen knows a lot about history and clearly loves Italian culture. We especially enjoyed the tours of small villages in Umbria and Tuscany, and the wineries.

The hosts were lovely, welcoming, and so knowledgeable, and the stay was absolutely incredible. The food was some of the best I’ve had in my life. Thank you for making it so memorable!
