We came to Lake Trasimeno for a wedding at the Borgia Castle and really enjoyed the area. The food we tried at the restaurant was incredible, and the staff were amazingly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to look after us. We'd recommend Il Gabbiano to anyone visiting the Passignano sul Trasimeno/Torricella/Magione area. Thanks again to Gianni and everyone at Hotel e Ristorante il Gabbiano!!

We visited in January, when the pool was closed, so I didn't get to use it. The host was friendly and nice, and the hospitality and breakfast were both good.

I came with a large high school group from the U.S., and the staff took such good care of us. They quickly put right anything that wasn't quite perfect. Dinner was good, but breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and lots more. On a hot June day, the pool was beautiful, immaculately looked after and just the right temperature. The sunset view from the porches was a lovely way to end the day.

We were in the area for a wedding at Castle Borgia, just a five minute walk away, and had a wonderful stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, even giving us free rides to the nearby town and train station. Our room was spotless and had a lovely balcony. It's a wonderful family business, and the manager spoke great English. Thanks so much, I can't recommend the place enough!

I first started eating at Gabbiano when I was 16, and now I'm 49. My family and I have never once been disappointed. The takeaway has always been impeccable, both in quality and punctuality.
