The rooms were very clean and had all the comforts we needed, and there’s plenty of outdoor parking. The staff were very kind and helpful. The setting is lovely, with views of the Aeolian Islands, and you can relax on the sea-view terrace, in the outdoor areas with tables and beautiful plants, or in the small room with fitness equipment, a TV, and a computer. It’s about two minutes from the center and five minutes from the sea. We had everything needed for a peaceful stay, even for many days. The owner is professional and willing to accommodate guests’ needs. Excellent rating.

The large terrace is the highlight, especially at sunset when you can look out at the Aeolian Islands. It’s a place for couples who want quiet time rather than nightlife. The B&B sits above Patti, reached by an uphill road; the turnoff is easy to miss, so keep going straight and you’ll get there. The owner is serious and meticulous, and breakfast is full. The rooms are modestly furnished, and I think the property could use some updating. A good spot if you’re coming to relax.

I gave it three stars for the location, but the other reviews left me wondering if we stayed in the same place. We found only half a roll of toilet paper, with no hand soap or shower gel. For seven people, there was one jar of soap that we had to ration to wash with. Breakfast was a croissant and coffee from the coffee maker. Maybe I’m used to other B&Bs leaving more than just a few things. Still, the kindness made it okay.
