The cakes Cosima made each evening for the next morning’s breakfast were a lovely part of our stay. You could taste the care and passion in them. She and Pasquale made us feel at home, patiently helping with our requests and letting us use the masseria freely, including for barbecues and spending time indoors. Their kindness and the care they put into the property made the whole experience feel personal. Set in Puglia’s natural landscape, it was wonderfully peaceful, far from city noise. A great place to rest your mind and body, and enjoy an authentic stay. Many thanks to both owners for their hospitality.

The one small downside was no TV in the room, though there is one in the main living room. That left more time for other things, hahahahahaha. The pool really tops off this beautiful place in the peaceful countryside, just 10 minutes from Santa Maria di Leuca and the sandy beaches. Cosima’s breakfast was lovely, too. Pasquale and Cosima are wonderful hosts and a pleasure to chat with. A great base for enjoying Puglia!

Masseria La Verna feels like a little piece of paradise, surrounded by the lovely Salento countryside. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the pool makes the place even better. Pasquale, Cosima and Melissa were wonderful, always ready to help, and the spacious rooms had all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes. The owners, Cosima and Pasquale, made the biggest impression on us. They were so kind and affectionate, always there to help with what we needed and share advice. We felt like family. We stayed from September 2nd to 12th, and found a beautiful, well-kept masseria, an enchanting pool, excellent breakfasts, and immaculate cleanliness. The peace and quiet left us feeling refreshed. Highly recommended!

We’ll definitely come back. Pasquale and Cosima were so welcoming and happy to accommodate all our whims, even when there was no need. The masseria is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, with a relaxing atmosphere, a fantastic pool, and an excellent breakfast Cosima made every morning.
