The bed was really comfortable, with a spot to hang clothes, bedside tables for small things, a shoe rack, and a place to charge devices by a small deck. There are two rooms, each with its own private bathroom outside the suite. The shower has lots of hot water and excellent pressure, and body wash is provided. Towels and bedding are good quality. Letizia was a kind hostess. Since we don’t speak much Italian, she offered restaurant suggestions and to make reservations for us. Her English is excellent. The B&B is close to the Duomo, with restaurants, markets, bars, and shops all around. Go up one flight of stairs and you’re in a comfortable little sanctuary. The apartment has a cozy feel, with a small sink, microwave, panini press, and coffee pod machine. Laundry is available if you ask. Letizia’s mother even stopped by to show us how to use the washer and dryer properly. Breakfast included plain yoghurt, white bread and jam, cornflakes, cakes, and cookies. There are plenty of markets close by, and a small shared fridge where you can keep fruit and protein to round things out.
