The hotel is in a great spot for seeing central Pavia, and parking was right outside on a quiet, tree lined street. It's a new place with a modern art theme. The staff were helpful and very pleasant, and breakfast was simple. We'll be back!

I've been moving quickly on this trip and stayed in 11 hotels over two weeks. This was one of my three best, along with the NH in Torino and one in Arras. At all three, I felt welcome. Here, the room was up to date, the breakfast was good, and the value was great. A flat, walk-in shower was a nice surprise.

The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful city, and the staff are all polite, ready to help, and greet you with warm smiles. The rooms are clean, strictly non-smoking, and the bed made for a good night's sleep. The WC was clean too, though it needs better attention to a few small maintenance details. Nothing serious, but these are easy fixes, so guests shouldn't have to notice them.

I emailed the hotel to arrange something special for our parents' wedding anniversary, and the caring staff went above and beyond. They provided Champagne and a lovely arrangement of fruit and chocolates. Mille Grazie for such great service. I'll stay here again when I travel to Milan.

Being right by the train station made it easy to get to Milan, but Pavia itself is so lovely that you may not want to leave. The staff were really friendly, the facilities were top notch, and this was definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I'll absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone staying in Pavia.
