The beds were comfortable, and the apartment is very central in Pavia, with all the sights about a 10-minute walk away. The room was around 30°C, so we couldn’t sleep or get any rest. The air conditioner seemed badly installed: its hot exhaust air circulated back into the room, and it made more noise than cooling. The microwave didn’t work, and the kitchen had no basic supplies like salt, pepper, or oil. It was also a bit hard to communicate with the host since all the information was sent in Italian.
