The tasting paired wine and olive oil with a short tour. We heard about the village, including its famous street of colorful houses, and its modern art, then saw the beautiful garden and wine cellar. Each wine and oil was explained with real passion; they clearly know their craft. We were glad we could take some delicious wine and olive oil home. It was absolutely worth it.

We booked through Arianna & Friends, having never heard of the winery and not knowing what to expect. It turned out to be one of our best experiences in Italy. Luciana, the winemaker, showed us around the garden, family house, and cellars, sharing stories and history along the way. She was passionate, full of information, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Luciano was amazing. The wines were phenomenal, and every glass was as good as the one before. They came with a small antipasti, and were all from Tuscany, made using bio-dynamic methods. You could taste the care in the vermentino, classic sangiovese, and rosso blends. Venerosso was our favorite, so we bought 30 bottles to ship home to Australia. Shipping is available to lots of countries. I’d recommend the winery to anyone traveling through the area who wants traditional wine and the history behind it, especially with such a great host. Booking through Arianna and Friends also went smoothly, with transport help and another wonderful guide for the day.

Francesco led our wine tasting and made it a one-of-a-kind experience. The wine was delicious, and there was so much history to hear. Highly recommend!

We dropped in at the last minute as we were leaving town and got a quick cellar tour followed by a tasting. The wines are traditional and exceptional, with a history going back to the 1300s and the same family. Everyone was so genuine and kind. I’d highly recommend it, and suggest making a reservation.
