The place has a big Mediterranean garden and vintage art all around inside and out. The owner is warm, welcoming, and really nice, and my room was neat and clean. It’s the nicest home I’ve stayed in so far. I fell in love with it straight away. Amazing, highly recommended 🫶🏻💕

The owner greeted us kindly and with a smile, but the property itself fell well short of what the online photos had led us to expect. We’d booked well ahead for a long weekend in the Pedara area because the garden looked so inviting and the price seemed reasonable. We’d given our arrival time, but were told we couldn’t get in before 8:00 PM, so we spent the free time touring Pedara. There are several problems with the outside: the access road is narrow, parking is difficult, and the somewhat rusty gate gave us pause. Past the gate, we found neglected outdoor areas with some construction work, a dangerous slide, and broken garden tiles. The room was small and plainly furnished. The bathroom had no bidet, and a rubber band was holding the toilet lid in place. The bed wasn’t especially comfortable, and there were so many notices and signs that it felt excessive. The TV only had RAI channels, while the curtains were too sheer to give privacy. The owner was courteous, but the place needs more attention to upkeep, safety, and guest comfort. In its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with attention to detail.

I’m sorry to leave a negative review because we’d expected a lot when we booked. Every morning, construction workers made so much noise that we couldn’t sleep, and nobody had mentioned this before we arrived. The bed was a sofa bed only a few centimeters high, so every night was torture and we woke up with back pain. The door and window had only simple curtains, with no shades. We couldn’t enjoy breakfast in the garden because the workers were there. With all these problems, no solution was offered, not even a small refund. That’s not how people who’ve paid for a few days of vacation should be treated.

The owners were always ready to answer our questions, and my family and I had a wonderful stay. It’s a peaceful place for total relaxation, only a few minutes’ walk from the center of charming Pedara. The garden is a lovely spot to unwind and cool off on hot summer days. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal, quiet, and the house feels so welcoming. Giuseppe and his family are incredibly kind, and the garden is lovely and well cared for. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!
