Ad Lofts Venezia

Getting luggage from the airport or train station to AD Lofts takes some effort. There are no cars or Uber in Venice, and the route means going up and down bridge stairs. But the apartment is close to St Mark's Square, shops and restaurants, and once you arrive, it has a fully equipped kitchen, funky furniture, and a clean, spacious bathroom with a good shower. The mattress was super comfortable and set us up for another full day walking around the city. We stayed two nights. There’s no lift in the building, but if the luggage journey doesn’t put you off, I recommend it.

The staff were excellent, helping with cleaning, luggage and escorting us to and from the apartment. The decor was funky, it was well equipped, and most of the sights are very central. We had a couple of problems with the water and kettle, but even after hours Kamal Uddin sorted them out quickly with a smile. What an amazing experience, we’ll recommend this unit any time. The check-in staff member was so friendly, gave us great dining suggestions, and clearly explained how to get to San Marco Square. The property is also conveniently close to Giglio Vaporetto stop, with only one small bridge to cross when carrying suitcases. We were surprised to find a washing machine, four TVs and efficient air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area. The bathrooms and kitchen were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. For our family of four, the place exceeded expectations: it’s huge, with a lounge and dining table, two full sized bedrooms, a massive kitchen and dining area, and two windows with miniature balconies overlooking the canal and passing gondolas. I’d recommend it to friends and family without hesitation and will come back. Thank you AD Lofts.

A great value apartment in a handy spot close to everything. Kamal was brilliant at meeting us for check-in, and Elena kept checking whether we needed anything.
