Pedara has plenty of services, from groceries and supermarkets to restaurants, bars, and a pharmacy. It’s also a great base for exploring Mount Etna. We had a wonderful stay at the Oltre il Giardino vacation home, even with the rain and wind. The house is spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished. Its cozy terrace overlooks the rooftops and the bell tower of the Basilica of Santa Caterina, and from the dead-end lane right outside, parking is easy and the view of Mount Etna is splendid. The road is quiet, with hardly anyone passing at night. The owner was kind, answered all our questions promptly before we left, and gave us excellent suggestions for the area. Highly recommended!
