Hotel Chalet Genziana

The place has been completely renovated, so everything feels new. Good typical meals and service, and it’s nicely located near Pejo.

Lorenzo’s stable tour was a lovely extra. We watched the milking and learned about a local tradition, and we’re hoping to come back in summer. This traditional chalet is in the heart of Val di Sole, with the free ski bus for Pejo, Marilleva, and Tonale stopping right outside. Conad is across the road, and Madonna di Campiglio is under an hour away. Valentina made us feel welcome straight away and helped with all the information we needed. Half board was a great choice: Mrs. Virginia cooked traditional dinners, and breakfast had plenty of cakes, jams, cured meats, and cheeses made on site. The hotel is family-friendly and also affiliated with a spa and ski school.

For our first stay here, my husband and I came for a short break and felt at home right away. Valentina and Virginia were so welcoming, as if we’d known them for years. The rooms were clean, breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were home-cooked. We’ll definitely return.

The room was comfortable and nicely styled, and the food followed local traditions. It’s only a five-minute drive to Pejo Fonti, with frequent ski buses as another option. Valentina and her mother looked after everyone with so much care and warmth every day. I felt at home, and I’ll be back.
