Hotel Waldhof

We had a room overlooking the mountains and a place to store our ski gear. The pools were clean and comfortable, and the outdoor one had a great mountain view. Both it and the two saunas were open until 7 pm. Dinner still had a surprisingly good range of options late in the evening. The food was great, and the staff were very kind. I really recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was magnificent, and the saunas and pool were lovely and well maintained. The room felt luxurious, and the staff were helpful. The hotel restaurant was just okay, though, not great. It was a splurge on a trip to Südtirol.

We had a great time here with our three kids. The rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the food good. We also really enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool. The location is excellent. One of the best hotels in the area, highly recommended! ;)

We left after the first night, and I don't expect we'll return. The hotel was full, so we were offered a room in a nearby house. It was extremely basic, with old furniture, very little light, a terrible shower, and no soap. When we asked, we got one tiny bar and couldn't get any more. We found the staff and management nasty. To be clear, we were told the room wasn't in the hotel, but we checked in at the hotel and paid Waldhof hotel, so I think it's reasonable to hold the hotel responsible for how we were treated. When we asked to upgrade, the management replied very impolitely that we couldn't expect much for such a small amount of money. She rudely asked why we weren't happy with a room that had a bed and a TV, and questioned whether we could afford the upgrade that was available at the main hotel. In the end, she told us to leave if we weren't satisfied. At that point, we didn't stay another second. I don't think that's a good way to treat a guest.
