Castel Pergine

The narrow uphill road to the castle was the main difficulty for me. When two cars meet, one has to reverse until they can pass, and my car wouldn't fit through the entrance. I backed down the hill and left it in an unattended parking spot. A staff member kindly helped with my bags. Muchas gracias Eduardo! Hasta la proxima! The courtyard is a lovely place to unwind, the rooms were clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beds are a little hard but still sleepable. It's a beautiful castle overlooking Pergine Valsugana, with art exhibitions throughout the year. This time the town also had a nice festival with art, plays, and concerts. We had a good stay, and I'd recommend Castel Pergina for a quiet, relaxing, or romantic short trip.

The view of the town from our room was incredible, and the grounds really did feel like something out of a fairytale. Everyone was helpful, and we felt welcome and looked after the whole time. Breakfast was delicious, especially in that historic room inside the Castel. Staying at Castel Pergine was the most magical place I've ever stayed, such a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'd definitely put it on your Italy bucket list.

We only visited for a day trip and didn't stay at the hotel. It’s a lovely castle, with beautiful mountain views.

I visited Castel Pergine in May with my husband and parents for their 50th anniversary. We stayed in the square tower, where the terrace and window views were breathtaking. The rooms kept their old-fashioned feel with furniture from the beginning of the century, while still having modern comforts. The castle is enchanting, and everything was well cared for and clean, from the gardens to the rooms and restaurant. The food was divine, and the staff were superb. The surroundings are gorgeous, with the history well preserved. I especially loved breakfast in the old stables, now a rustic restaurant. Cristina, our host, was always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and very accommodating. She's the best host I've ever had, and a real asset to the castle. The price felt very reasonable for the setting, history, and service. I'd strongly recommend staying there.
