The peaceful setting is what made this place such a good fit for us. There are trees all around, a lovely view over the valley, and a real sense of quiet in the countryside. The warm, home-like pension has separate buildings and spacious private rooms, and the accommodation went beyond what we expected. The owner is very caring and makes sure you have what you need. There’s free parking on the property and fast Wi-Fi too. And there’s a donkey living there who you can feed with fruit from the garden.

Breakfast was a highlight, with Italian croissants, bread, cheeses, yogurt and fruit salad, and the room and terrace had a lovely view. Our hosts were so friendly. We also loved the natural pool and the dinner. From the time our booking was confirmed, they sent a kind welcome message and clear directions for getting there. We felt warmly welcomed by the hosts and their pets, and everything went smoothly right through returning the key. We had an amazing time and would recommend staying here.

The quiet around our comfortable room was beautiful, and the panoramic views are hard to beat. If rustic surroundings and animals are your thing, this place is a winner. Cynthia was wonderfully attentive and accommodating, such a lovely person. Highly recommend a visit.

We had an unforgettable stay at Agriturismo Ii Rifugio di Artemidie. The Ligurian food was excellent, the wine was good, and the cooking and service were both wonderful. Cinzia, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The place is beautifully situated, and our room was clean, neat and nice. We can highly recommend it.

We were four adults and three kids, staying one night with dinner, and paid 800 euro. The Booking.com price was totally different, and once we arrived the price was three times higher. Breakfast was included, but the next day I was charged 15 euro for eggs. A beer was 8 euro and Coca Cola 5 euro. There was no price list, and we had to pay extra at the end of our reservation. I was totally disappointed. This felt like a scam, and it was the most expensive night ever.
