The host really made our stay at Villa Caterina. She was warm, informative, and always ready to help, sharing useful tips on local attractions and transport. She even told us about a free night bus to the villa. The place itself was spotless and tidy, with all the facilities working well and several complimentary extras we appreciated. We also loved how quiet it was, surrounded by nature, and the local residents we met were very welcoming. Her kindness and attention to detail made the whole visit feel special. We’d happily return and highly recommend Villa Caterina.

A quiet, isolated little house with a garden and a view, more of a summer place. It has the basics, but could use some care and much better decor. The trees could do with being cut back, too. Heating is poor, so it probably shouldn’t be too cold outside. The kitchen and fridge need updating, and the wifi was almost useless.

A comfortable, lovely home surrounded by greenery, just steps from Varenna and Vezio Castle. It’s a great choice for a weekend or a longer stay, with plenty of peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

The views are breathtaking, and the villa feels both beautiful and welcoming, with greenery all around and Varenna and Vezio Castle just a short walk away. I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Waking up here feels magical. It’s a beautiful villa, thoughtfully detailed and surrounded by nature, with a calm that makes it easy to reconnect with the outdoors. Recommended.
