The view was the only good thing. The apartment was in terrible shape, as if nobody had stayed there for weeks. There was dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere, and the furnishings were disgusting. The fridge, dishwasher, and other appliances were filthy and unusable, while the furniture was old and damaged. They said they’d arrange an immediate clean. An employee showed up a little later, but said he wasn’t a cleaner. Luckily, the landlord let us cancel for free, so we booked somewhere else that same day. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

The evenings and nights are especially peaceful here, which makes it a nice place to stay if you like quiet. You’ll need a car to get around, though. The Lake Como view is breathtaking, but the indoor and outdoor furniture is a little worn, and the kitchen utensils could be better. The surrounding area is beautiful, and almost everything else you might need is available there.
