Alessi B&B

The first time I came to Italy from NY, I moved here for five months to learn Italian and stayed with Anna and her family the whole time. They welcomed me right away, even though arriving from the United States felt scary. I was comfortable in their home, like I was part of the family. I practiced conversation with them, got help with my Homework, and went on little trips with them as they showed me around town. Anna looked out for me, made sure I had a hot meal, and helped me get safely to whichever station I needed. She's an incredible cook and baker, and always had ideas for places to visit around Italy. That stay was unforgettable, and I made friends for life. There's a picture below of me, Anna, and her son 🙂 I've traveled all over Italy since then, and whenever I come back, I stay with them. Their kindness makes it feel like home, and being in the city center means I can walk down the block for a drink or a nice meal in the heart of Perugia. It's the best way I can describe my experience at Alessi B and B with Anna and her family. A home away from home, absolutely!

Anna and her grown-up children, who are often around, made me feel at home with them. She's a very friendly and welcoming host. I enjoyed staying at Alessi Bed & Breakfast, in a historic building in a lovely artistic neighborhood with nice restaurants, and highly recommend it.

I spent three months here and really enjoyed it. Anna was friendly and helpful, made me feel at home, and also gave me space when I wanted some time to myself. If you want an authentic sense of how local people live, I highly recommend staying here. Anna became an Italian mamma to me for life.

I've been living at Ms. Anna's place for the past seven months. She's caring and supportive, treats guests like family, and is always available to help with whatever you need. Her children are friendly with everyone too. It's well worth staying in Anna's apartment. Mukul Jain
