BB Della Rosa

The countryside setting is a real treat in summer, with a sunflower field all around the B&B. It's a small place in Civitella d'Arna, among the Umbrian hills between Assisi and Perugia, and a good base for seeing Assisi, Perugia, Bevagna, and nearby areas. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, and the hosts are genuinely gracious. Breakfast is generous. They also have several dogs and cats, all well behaved and no bother to guests.

Our room had an old-fashioned country feel that suited the landscape perfectly, and I'd happily stay here again. We only spent one night as a stop between Perugia and Assisi. At first the location seemed inconvenient, but thinking it through, it's right between the two cities. The hosts welcomed us themselves and were incredibly kind. They also took my food intolerance into account, and breakfast the next morning was plentiful and suited my needs. The countryside views are breathtaking.

The owners gave us space and were very respectful, and there was plenty to eat at breakfast. We stayed one night at B&B della Rosa and really enjoyed it. It's quiet and away from city chaos, while still handy for Assisi, Spello, and Perugia.

A nice break from the daily grind if you like being out in the countryside. The room was looked after well, and the little lavender gift was a lovely touch. The owners were kind and helpful. Marta was incredibly sweet, and on our second and last morning Maurizio entertained us with his guitar. :)
