We had a good stay and would be glad to come back. It's a lovely spot to unwind away from the crowds, while still being close to Perugia. The garden is peaceful and pretty, though the pools weren't open yet. I was working the whole time, and the weather wasn't great for afternoon outings, so we spent our days at the hotel. The internet worked well enough for video calls. The owner was helpful with laundry, checked in on us during the day, and brought me coffee when I was working downstairs by the breakfast area. Breakfast was a bit limited for five days in a row. There were mostly sweet cakes, tarts, and croissants, with ham and cheese as an option. I think it was all homemade and high quality, but we prefer other kinds of food. Eggs cost an extra €5 per person, which felt unnecessary and a little greedy to me. I also felt uncomfortable when the owner kept asking me to give the highest rating because he'd gone out of his way to help. It made the experience feel like I owed him a good score. That's just my personal view, and it doesn't change that we enjoyed our stay.

CorteViva B & B felt like home, thanks to Alessandra and Federico, who did a wonderful job looking after me. My room was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The pool and hot tub were great too. If you're in Perugia, I'd book this place! :)

We only had time to admire the terrace and whirlpool, not use them, since we arrived late and had a morning flight. Still, it was a lovely stay, and we'll definitely return. The restored old building and its rooms are decorated with great taste, and the breakfast room looks out over the countryside. Breakfast itself was lovely, with homemade cakes, fruit, and cappuccino. Alessandra and Federico welcomed us warmly with a glass of Umbrian red wine. They were friendly, helpful, and easy to get along with. We stayed one peaceful, comfortable night with our children in this brand-new B&B in St. Egidio. The International Airport of St. Egidio is a two-minute drive away, but we heard no airport noise at night. Perugia and Assisi are also nearby.

The hotel is new and fresh, and it looked even better in person than in the photos. The enclosed patio has a stunning view, especially at sunrise. We were the only guests during our stay. Our room, Cashmere, was a great size for two, with a king bed and a very comfortable mattress. Everything was simple, modern, and clean. There was a tea set, TV, hair dryer, and a nice bathroom stocked with Trussardi amenities. Breakfast was just right for two. They made us a good continental spread, though I imagine there might be more choice when there are more guests. The only things I'd suggest are slippers, since the floor felt cold, and a sign to make the location easier to find. We had trouble locating it and may simply have missed the sign. If you're driving, I think CorteViva is the best choice.
