Tramonto su Assisi

For me, this place shows the beautiful side of Italy. It’s so relaxing, really pretty, and has a great panorama. Everything seemed well organized, and it has all the things you need. The pool is lovely, even if it isn’t very big. I’d suggest it to anyone.

The pool is the best! Breakfast comes with a terrace overlooking a gorgeous view, and you can see the valley, Assisi and Mount Subasio from the resort. The apartments have tasteful, typical Umbrian furnishings. It’s a marvelous place, well positioned for visiting the region and only a few minutes from the local airport. Love it!

The accommodations are new, clean and well managed, and the staff are welcoming, kind and professional. They give you the right directions for finding the place, which you need because of its particular location. You’ll need a car to sort out food, though everything is only a few kilometres away. We stayed briefly and wished we could have experienced more of it. There’s a lot of peace and quiet in the countryside, in the heart of Umbria, facing Assisi with a view of Mount Subasio. The pool is lovely for relaxing in that quiet and scenery. Some things could be improved, but they weren’t a problem for us. We’d definitely come back for a few more days. Highly recommended.

Anna gives a very kind welcome and pays attention to what guests need, which really adds to the stay. The location is beautiful and full of potential, and the apartment was pleasant and well kept. They provide sheets, towels, a small breakfast kit, and a coffee machine in the shared area. A few things need work: there’s no air conditioning, only a portable fan, and the apartments need mosquito nets so you can open the windows in hot weather without worrying about insects. The pool water was cloudy, with dirt at the bottom, and it seemed to lack cleaning equipment. I didn’t notice a chlorine smell, though perhaps they use another disinfectant. The pool steps also need non-slip mats, as getting into the water is dangerous. I wouldn’t return. I’d give it three stars, plus one for the welcome and availability and the competitive price.
