We loved having this hotel as our base in fantastic Perugia. It's a business hotel, but full of character, with a lovely garden for a drink. The great breakfast and the jazz player in the room were highlights. Someone recommended taking the mini metro to the old town, and it was simple, safe, cheap, and easy. Walking back was no problem.

The hotel has a quirky jazz theme. Pets are welcome, but our pet couldn't go into any eating areas, so we had no choice but to eat elsewhere. The pool is small. It's a steep 20-minute walk to Perguia cento, but the walk is worth it.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were polite. They made a good effort to keep things clean, but the place needs renovation right away. Water from the air conditioner ran onto the room floor, the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, and the extremely dirty balcony wasn't separated from the neighboring rooms' balconies, with broken glass in between. It's a 20-minute walk from the city center. I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were really helpful, and the restaurant was very good. The rooms were clean and nice, and breakfast was very good too.

The breakfast buffet had lots of options and was really good. The bed was our main problem: in some spots you could feel the springs, so we couldn't sleep well on any of the nights we stayed. The hotel definitely needs some renovation.
