When I came back recently, the place was fully booked, so I stayed in their apartment instead. It felt warm and cozy, and everything was super clean. I’d stayed at the hotel back in october.

There are quite a lot of steps up to the main square, but it’s worth the climb. The hotel is inside the old walls of the Roman city of Perugia, in Umbria, Italy, and was very good value. Breakfast was excellent at €4 each, and the bathroom had nice, very hot water.

Hotel Umbria has a real 50ies character. It’s historic and unique, and has been kept in extremely good shape. The place feels full of history, while still being impeccably clean, friendly, and unpretentious. Don’t compare it with other places. Recommended!

The host welcomed us warmly and went out of his way to help with our luggage and make sure we parked somewhere safe. The hotel is in the historic area of Perugia Italy. I loved it: the room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here.

The receptionist kept checking whether we wanted breakfast and helped us with anything we needed. Everyone was polite and friendly, and the rooms were super clean. We felt very welcome at ,,Hotel Umbria’’. Nothing but good things to say about our stay.
