A really warm welcome and service that made us feel at home. The food was great, everything was very clean, and they speak English very well. Lovely hospitality, excellent service. We'd definitely come back.

The restaurant serves top-quality food, and the staff made me feel welcome and special from the moment I arrived. They greeted me with a smile and a glass of Prosecco, a lovely way to unwind after travel and work. Because of work commitments I needed somewhere to sit after checkout. The owner kindly let me keep the room longer so I could work on my laptop. After several anxious days of travelling for work without being able to sit down for long, I appreciated that so much. Dinner was a really frustrating experience, and the food was only average. It wasn't even busy, yet we waited ages just to be seated. After ordering food and drinks, our starters arrived, but the wine took 20 minutes and three requests. The waiter forgot our bread, which came later. My wife's pasta arrived, then I waited another 10 minutes for my pizza until I found a manager, who went to get it. With no waiters around, I had to fetch plates for the kids myself from the sideboard. The bruschetta was dry and hard, and the bread had no taste. My wife liked her truffle pasta, but my pizza was very average compared with others we'd tried in Umbria. We gave up on dessert because we didn't fancy our chances of getting served. I told the manager as we left that they needed more staff and explained what had happened. He blamed it on a big event that morning. Our hotel had highly recommended this place, which made the poor experience all the more disappointing. One star for wasting our evening and the very average food.

Fresh, tasty food and friendly waiters. We sat outside for dinner. The portions were big: the antipasti was too much for one person.
