The people working here made the biggest impression on me. Near the end of my stay, my car battery died. Even though it was Saturday, the reception man found a local mechanic to come start the car, then arranged for him to take it to a nearby garage that was more or less closed. He also negotiated a price that seemed incredibly low and reasonable to me. It was such a kind, humane experience that I think people should hear about it. The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are fine, though clearly not new, and the food is very good, especially dinner. Breakfast was good too.

They overcharged me and refused to return the money. I had to dispute the charge through my card provider. They showed no interest in acting ethically, and I won't use them again.

I was very disappointed by the service during my four-night stay. They only put water in the room on the first night. When I asked reception about it, he answered rudely. At checkout, I accidentally gave the wrong room number, and the other receptionist got angry and raised her voice. She also tried to charge me for the restaurant when I only owed for the bar.

We chose this hotel on our trip between Venice and Rome and were glad we did. The staff were very nice and bilingual, the room was clean, spacious, and very nice, and we felt fully rested for the rest of the journey. There's an outdoor pool and outdoor seating, plus a perfect view over Perugia. They even lend you a cellphone if you're staying several days, so you don't have to use your own plan. Who does that? I'd recommend the place any day.
