The spa was a real highlight, especially the indoor pool and sauna, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. The breakfast chef deserves a special mention. The buffet first seemed a bit limited, with mostly sweet pastries, a few yogurts, and some fruit, but over our five days she learned what we liked and adjusted things for us. She picked vegetables from the garden, bought cream cheese, remembered how we liked our coffee, and made our eggs just right each morning. That care and generosity meant a lot. The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, which gives it a cozy, intimate feel. But our room let the stay down. It wasn’t as clean as we expected, housekeeping missed things, and there was mold in the shower. For this price, that was unacceptable. Lighting was poor too, with no soft lights or reading lamps by the bed, so reading at night or early in the morning was uncomfortable. The room was small, and a large jacuzzi tub took up about a third of the space. We didn’t use it because the main spa was much better. The beds were uncomfortable as well, making it harder to rest. The attentive team, intimate setting, and excellent spa were all positives, but the room and bed issues left us somewhat disappointed.

We had a really enjoyable few days here. The hotel is well kept, the place is lovely for relaxing, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The spa was amazing, and so was the massage. I also noticed they make dogs and children feel welcome. The restaurant is currently closed, though breakfast and cappuccino were very good. A few things could be better. At this price, I’d expect at least a bottle of water in the room. The 15 € charge to change a bathrobe felt too high. I understand the environmental and financial reasons, but putting on a wet robe the next day doesn’t feel luxurious. Cleaning was done well, but the water glass should either be left where it is or replaced. Putting the used one back made it look clean when it wasn’t. The walls are also quite thin 😅. We stayed for three nights in May just before our wedding and paid 500 euros a night, 1500 euros in total. The air conditioning didn’t work, and with the bedroom upstairs in our suite, the temperature quickly climbed to 30 degrees. A technician came several times but couldn’t fix it. On two evenings we had to move to another room in our bathrobes, sleep there, and return to our own room the next morning. After two sleepless nights before the wedding, we raised our dissatisfaction with the staff, who contacted the owners. They promised we would only pay for half the nights, meaning a 750 euro refund. Then, to our surprise, an email arrived on June 27 saying there would be no cash refund, only a 200 euro voucher to spend at the resort. That didn’t match what had been agreed or promised. After the way reception staff treated us, we wouldn’t want to stay there again. It’s now two and a half months later, and nothing has moved forward.

A beautiful luxury boutique hotel, with fantastic rooms and grounds. The spa area and breakfast were just as good, and cleanliness was outstanding. Every employee seemed highly qualified, kind, sweet, and professional. Staying here was a pleasure. Thanks to the team for all their care and hard work.
