The owner was very kind and helpful, and made me feel at home. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Even though I stayed over Easter, the price was quite reasonable. It’s in a handy spot, a short walk from the Giorgilorio shopping center and three minutes from Lecce. Highly recommended.
The air conditioning in one room didn’t work, and the guests there spent the whole night cold. I’m sorry, but a B&B in 2018 shouldn’t have a small boiler serving showers for three rooms. The hot water ran out after just one person had checked in. Seeing a 9.5 rating on Booking.com honestly makes me question the management. The owners need to rethink how they’re running things, or that false rating will end up becoming a very poor one.
Mrs. Anna Maria was so kind and helpful with our requests. The place itself was perfect, and the air conditioning was very, very useful in the hot weather. There’s internal parking, though we didn’t use it because our car sits low. Parking on the highway was no problem either. This quiet bed and breakfast is just outside Lecce, in Surbo, and close to all the beautiful, extraordinary places in Salento, most no more than a 40-minute or an hour’s drive away. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back next year.
