Ripa Relais Colle del Sole

We only stayed two nights, and wish we'd had longer. Sitting outside in the peaceful setting, taking in the view and charm, was such a treat. It's a little slice of paradise, and I'd love to return to enjoy more of what they offer, from the top notch restaurant, spa services, and pool to all the tours they can arrange.

Dinner was off the charts, and we felt truly welcome in the restaurant. It was warm and intimate without anyone intruding. Breakfast was good too. The resort itself was stunning, with a beautiful room and outstanding grounds. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We thought this hidden gem was better than any five star place we'd stayed at. This was the highlight of our holiday, and we're already planning to come back. Can't wait. Thanks to all the staff.

The garden was nicely kept, the welcome was good, and the staff spoke English fluently. There were shaded parking spaces, and while the restaurant was expensive, the food was excellent and worth it. The pool was large, but it and the bins around it weren't cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was okay except for the overboiled eggs. Our room was fine, though the beds were too short for me at 194 cm, and the pillows were only about 5 cm high and felt like bricks. Noise from the restaurant downstairs carried into the room, so it was hard to sleep early or sleep in.

The restaurant was our favorite part, and the food was exceptional every time we ate there. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and an amuse bouche, which was a lovely touch. We also had a really relaxing stay at Ripa Relais, with immaculate grounds, a gorgeous pool, and lovely spa services. Highly recommended if you're in Umbria.
