We stayed as a family and found the rooms clean and the area quiet, with no nighttime noise or disturbance. The owner was kind and helpful, and also friendly and culturally stimulating. She has training experience in Africa and is a uniquely personable person. Highly recommended.

The garden is well kept and peaceful, and you can use it for breakfast or meals, including a barbecue. There’s also a library for guests, which I especially liked. We were welcomed warmly and found the atmosphere relaxing. I’d gladly return for another vacation.

I felt like part of the family, and the stay was very pleasant. They’re simple people with a wealth of culture, and I even had dinner with them. I highly recommend it. Lucilla is beautiful!
