I spent nearly two months here for work, from February into March, and felt very comfortable. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and it seems to have had a recent update. Colleagues say the pool area is even nicer in spring and summer when it opens. The large lobby is a place where people gather, and the bar serves coffee and drinks throughout the day. Breakfast is a traditional Italian spread, with tasty pastries, scrambled eggs, and hard-boiled eggs. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful everywhere I dealt with them, from reception to the breakfast room and housekeeping. You can walk into town in about 20 minutes or drive, and a bus stops at the hotel. Bologna is a 20-30 minute drive away, with buses and trains also available from town.

I've stayed here several times over the years for work and have always been satisfied. The staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are nice, and there's the option to use wellness services. It's beside a small lake, with several good restaurants nearby. I can recommend it.

The breakfast is excellent, and I've loved this hotel every time I've stayed. When I was last there in 2016, the Wi-Fi was pretty slow, though the reception supplied Ethernet cables and there were wall sockets. The pool wasn't finished then, which was a shame because it would've been great. I'd gladly go back if I got the chance.

There's a fantastic pool and lounging area. The countryside setting is quiet, and driving to places is easy, though taxis can be hard to find. The hotel doesn't serve lunch, and having only one key per room is awkward and puzzling. No CNN.
