The apartment’s bed on the first floor is worn out, and I could feel its many springs while trying to sleep. The old-town location is lovely, with lots of restaurants and bars close by, but that also means a lot of noise at night, especially on weekends. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep.

Everything I needed was there, and the rooms were clean. The staff were fabulous and made it a great experience. Thanks, I’d recommend it.

The place was clean and had good facilities, and we were very pleased with both. We had a comfortable stay, though we could hear noise from outside.

The kitchen has what you need to put together a decent breakfast, and the B&B was clean and well organized, possibly recently renovated. Furnishings are sparse, with just the basics. The main drawback is the tiny toilet with no window.

Friday nights are the worst. A nearby “music bar” blasts bass-heavy music past 2 a.m., then the bell tower at nearby San Cetteo wakes you at 7. Parking is a nightmare in this neighborhood, even if the police seem generous with people who have to make do. The bathrooms also fall far short on cleanliness and function. The apartment is spacious and can comfortably fit up to eight, and the price is good, but everything else is decidedly inadequate. Never again.
