The apartment is very well furnished, but I can’t leave a positive review. This was my first time at a B&B, and I’d expected a bit more guidance from the owner. We only saw her when she gave us the keys on arrival. When we asked where to eat, she just said there were plenty of restaurants along the seafront. She also said the tap water was fine when we asked for bottled water. There’s no air conditioning. I’d read older reviews that were very positive, so I don’t know if the place has lost some of its appeal.

The B&B itself wasn’t bad, but the breakfast was very basic, there was no air conditioning, and the bathroom didn’t have soap or shampoo. What upset me most was the owner, Sandra, and how she handled a health problem. My boyfriend had a severe ear infection. Our health insurance said that because of COVID we couldn’t go to the health center, and that they would send a doctor to examine him at the B&B. Sandra flatly refused to let a doctor onto the property. We found that unacceptable and decided to leave after paying for just one of the two nights we’d booked through Booking.com. She then said we hadn’t shown up for the reservation, which wasn’t true. That kept me from posting a review there, so I’m writing it here. Empathy and decent treatment matter, but this whole experience left a lot to be desired. I don’t recommend it.

Each little room has its own color, and the place is nicely decorated. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is out in the hallway, but that wasn’t a problem at all since it’s right across from the bedroom door. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, and unfortunately there was no fruit. There’s a clothesline on the balcony. What more could you want?

The location is beautiful, the rooms are excellent, and Sandra is incredibly kind and courteous. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back! 👍🏻
