Bed and Breakfast Le Mimose

The shower was cold because, apparently, the boiler was having trouble. From earlier comments, it seems this has been going on for a while. The breakfast was meager and poor in quality, with no attention to detail, which confirmed my impression of the host. I found the host arrogant, unclear, and dishonest. The place itself is clean, but cleanliness is only one part of running a property. Avoid it. You can find much better for the same price.

It was really nice, clean, and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt friendly and familiar. The room I had was a bit cold, though. I was there five days ago, during rainy weather with a red alert forecast, and the radiators stayed cold in the morning and afternoon. They only came on at 8:40 PM. Not good.

They have my number, and if they want to return at least €10, they can top up my Wind phone. Then I’ll delete the negative review. My girlfriend and I had to take a cold shower because, they said, water pressure problems meant the boiler wasn’t working properly. After all our traveling, I asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience. They said it wasn’t their fault, but it wasn’t the guests’ fault either. There’s a notice saying guests are charged €20 if makeup stains a towel, but apparently the penalties only go one way.

Two hours before check-in, they messaged me on WhatsApp to say the room had been rented to another family member and they were cancelling my reservation. I’d booked through Booking.com for two guests who were traveling for work. They accepted the booking and asked me to transfer the money before the guests arrived, which I did. I spoke with a very rude woman. They could have found another solution. Given the lack of professionalism and how late they let me know, I would never recommend this property.
