Getting around was the strongest point: the station is just a two-minute walk away, and the seafront takes about 15 minutes on foot. The price seemed fair for two or three people, and I appreciated having several new pillows and pillowcases to choose from. Inside, the kitchen is a common area shared by all guests, with three bedrooms leading off it. The website hadn’t made that clear, and I didn’t feel comfortable using a fridge that other guests could freely access. My room wasn’t clean enough for a hotel, and there was almost no privacy. A wooden door separated it from the kitchen where everyone ate, while the windows, bathroom included, faced a shared courtyard. I ended up keeping the blinds down. Sound carried everywhere: I heard people using the bathrooms, guests chatting over breakfast, and nearby work through closed windows. Other guests got up early, and their children ran around the room and kitchen while their parents shouted at them. I could hear it all from bed, so sleeping past 7 a.m. was impossible. The shower had no holder for bottles, and the only shower gel was an already-opened, half-used one-liter bottle. There was no dental kit and no toilet paper beyond a single roll for the whole house, even though my stay was just two days. The advertised buffet breakfast amounted to four empty packaged croissants. There was an induction hob but no pots or pans. Staff weren’t exactly rude, but they were unfriendly and unhelpful. They even knocked until I woke up, then tried to come into my room without warning and for no clear reason. WiFi worked, but it was so slow I wouldn’t count on it for work or movies.

I only stayed one night, and it was a positive experience. The owner was friendly and courteous, explained how the property worked, and helped us feel at ease. They even gave us a map of Pescara’s center with restaurant suggestions. The room was simple but very clean, with a big bed, air conditioning, a TV, and a bathroom with a shower. There was a breakfast basket, and the shared kitchen had the equipment you’d expect at home.

It’s quiet here despite being just a few steps from the city center, and there’s a nice garden. The place works well whether you arrive by train or by car. My room was clean, quiet, and practical. The owner was warm and helpful, and shared a city map pointing out good places to eat. Recommended!

Mrs. Lucia greeted my family warmly and was very kind. The property is conveniently placed for getting to the seafront and is well equipped, with indoor parking too. But we found lots of ants in our room, which really spoiled the stay and left me with a negative impression.
