Idillio Luxury Rooms

The host makes guests feel welcome and goes well beyond what’s expected. The hotel is impeccably clean and in a great spot, just one block from the beach. If you’re in Pescara, book this little gem for some generous Italian hospitality.

Mechelle was the perfect host and made everything lovely. The service was the most attentive I’ve ever had. They even served gelato in the middle of the afternoon to go with the Prosecco we’d been enjoying, all included in the service. The place was very clean, with modern lines and up-to-date electronics. The Linea room has a lovely balcony with lemon trees, a Camino, and a whirlpool.

I lost my deposit, but I wouldn’t stay there even if I were paid to. The website is highly misleading: they call it a B&B, but it’s a rundown building on a rundown street, and both the street and building smell. There’s nothing “luxury” about this place. I’d give it zero stars if that were possible.

Michele even surprised us one evening with beautiful gelato creations, which we ate on the terrace after dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereals, omelettes, and eggs, and the staff were extraordinary. Our room also had an espresso maker with fine Villeroy & Boch cups and dishes. The fridge was stocked daily with drinks, plus welcome Prosecco and a fruit platter. We hadn’t been sure whether we’d booked a boutique hotel or a bed and breakfast, and were surprised when we arrived and checked in. The modern decor felt welcoming, and the details were carefully thought through, from the luxurious bedding, comfortable bed and pillows, lush towels and robes, velvet hangers, flat-screen TVs with cable, to the Bluetooth sound system and more. Michele, the owner, is passionate about hospitality, and that showed from the first look at our room. You can tell this is a labor of love for a very special man. His passion was contagious.
