Lovely.

A good place.

The shower is cramped and narrow, with no plastic door. Its small curtain barely keeps the water in, so the bathroom ends up flooded. The room's cleanliness was questionable too, and we found hairs on the sheets. Although I'd said there would be two of us, the bathroom had just two towels, one large and one small. The room was very cold when we arrived, even though we were welcomed kindly. The owner said the heating would come on later in the afternoon or evening. I asked around 7 PM because it still wasn't on, but it never came on at all. Breakfast was almost nothing, just three chocolates and a few mandarins at 8:30 AM, and the coffee maker only produced dirty water. I understand that accommodation costs are going up, but facilities need investment to meet the basic standard. They should have told us upfront that the heating wasn't available. Saying in the morning that it wasn't on because “no one's home anyway” felt like they were mocking us.

I booked a room directly with this property two days before my stay. I asked whether I needed to pay a deposit, and they told me not to worry since I'd be there in two days. I reached Pescara at 1 PM, but went to lunch because check-in was at 3. When I called at 2:30, they said the room wasn't ready because the guests had only just left, and that they'd call me once it was available. At 5:30, I got a message saying the room was no longer available. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking here.
