Albergo della Corte

When I asked the owner to explain, she said we had chosen that room, as though that answered the mold problem. My father hadn't reported it promptly, unfortunately. We had treated my parents to a weekend and booked an attic room, but the photos didn't show the mold, the very low and cramped bathroom, or that there would be two single mattresses pushed together instead of a double. I hope the health service inspects these places regularly, and that people's health won't be put at risk going forward. Common sense should tell us that a room that's unusable even for one night shouldn't be sold.

The owners, Gianluca and his sister, were welcoming and friendly from the start, and gave us lots of tips about the town and trails. Breakfast was varied, with delicious homemade cakes. We stayed at Albergo della Corte for a couple of days to visit Abruzzo National Park. It's a small, charming hotel that's easy to reach, with free parking on site. Our room had everything we needed for a short stay and was always very clean. The center of Pescasseroli and the Park Visitor Center are both just a short walk away. We'll definitely return!

We had two wonderful days with the family, though the weather was a shame. Gianluca and Rossella, the owners, were always available. The place was quiet, well-kept, and clean, close to all amenities and just steps from the town center. If you're in the area, give it a try. It's definitely worth a visit.

The owner was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were impeccably clean. We had a great three-night stay, with an excellent breakfast made from homemade products. The location is strategic, just a few minutes' walk from the center. We'll definitely be back!
