The balconies have lovely views, and the beach is close by, with sun loungers and parasols provided. The family was charming and made for some pleasant conversations. The hotel is well maintained, with simple, very clean rooms. Soundproofing is the only real downside. Otherwise, the welcome and service are friendly, and the meals are high quality, made with homemade ingredients. The rates are very reasonable, and we had a highly enjoyable short stay.

We stayed one night, from August 14th to 15th, and it was a nightmare. The owner was incredibly rude. He went after us because we'd taken the wrong exit on foot through the gate, even though it wouldn't have changed anything, and then kept insulting us. The amount of hatred he seemed to have for people was frightening. And that wasn't all. We spent the night feeling anxious. If you want a relaxing night or a few days away, this place isn't for you.

The location was good, but the stay had a lot of downsides. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower was tiny, and the shutters wouldn't close. There was no elevator, so getting our bags up to the second floor was a struggle. Breakfast was very disappointing.

The beach is only a three-minute walk away, and the old town takes about ten minutes on foot. We had a second-floor balcony with a sea view, and the sunsets from there were spectacular. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless. It had simple furnishings, a fridge, air conditioning, and a small TV. This place has a lovely 1960s charm. It isn't a modern hotel with every extra, but that was clear in the photos before booking, so I don't really understand some of the negative reviews. Have a good look at the details first. 😉 The woman at reception, possibly the owner, was so kind and accommodating. She only speaks Italian, but we managed to communicate without any trouble. A man at the property was friendly too and told us about the garden's trees, including ancient olive, lemon, and mushy peach trees, some up to 500 years old. They had homemade jam, olive oil, and lemonade at reception. We were happy to take some more when we checked out. It was a simple stay, but we felt comfortable, slept really well, and were treated kindly. Thank you!
