La Formichina

The value for money is excellent. This family-run B&B is set in quiet, breezy countryside, yet only a few kilometers from the main tourist attractions. Michele and his family looked after us, and Michele was friendly, helpful, and resourceful. The rooms are spacious, have private bathrooms, and open onto a veranda through a private entrance and gate. They’re cleaned daily, and breakfast is plentiful with homemade products. Recommended.

Michele made us breakfast the next morning, and the peach cake was a real treat. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and our charming, comfortable room was tucked into a large garden. The place is quiet and relaxing, less than a 10-minute drive from Peschici. Everything was spotlessly clean and well kept. We’ll definitely be back.

We found it easy to reach, and choosing this farmhouse was definitely a good decision. It sits among olive trees and typical vegetation, with a calm, family feel. A young man with a mustache welcomed us warmly and impressed us with expertly made desserts and fruit juices. There’s indoor parking, including a sunshade. It was so hot during our stay that we couldn’t make much use of the outdoor spaces.

Michele and his mother made us feel right at home, and he pampered us throughout our stay. The B&B, La Formichina, is in a quiet area, a five-minute drive from both the town center and the port where excursions depart. Our room was spotless, and all three of us had clean linens every day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with homemade cakes and juices. We had a wonderful holiday in Peschici. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it.
