Gli Orti Di Malva B&B

The restaurant has a very good view, but this was a disappointing stay. The B&B itself is nice and the rooms were clean, and the view was pleasant, though it was diagonal from both rooms rather than a direct sea view. There are only two rooms: one larger with a very poor view and one smaller with a better one. They charged me for the larger room, but because of some issue I got the smaller room instead. Booking.com kept showing one room left in each category, which is misleading since there is only one room in each category. Getting there was very difficult. I drove a BMW X3 and nearly got stuck between the houses. There’s no parking, and turning around is hard. The breakfast was very poor, and the gentleman serving us kept watching us. The shower area was tiny and dirty, with no toiletries. The bed had a painted metal headboard that bangs if you hit it by accident. They gave me two sunny-side-up fried eggs. Please see picture no 1. This area should only be visited from April to October. From October to March it’s like a ghost town, with empty alleys and most restaurants closed or without customers.

The breakfast was especially delicious, and the team were very personal and flexible. We had a wonderful time in a beautifully designed suite with breathtaking views. A perfect stay!

The only thing that bothered me was being charged for the coffee pods, especially the water we used in the room. You wouldn’t expect that at a place of this caliber. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend it. The Malva room looks out over a stretch of turquoise sea, and breakfast is in a lovely room with an uninterrupted sea view. Annalisa’s transfer from the parking lot to the property in central Peschici is very convenient. The place is beautiful and every detail is considered.

Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was the icing on the cake, with so many delicious things to choose from. We spent three nights in a charming place, in a spacious room with a wonderful sea-facing balcony. Watching the beautiful sunrise from there in the morning was lovely. If I’m back in the area, I’d book again. That warm, family-style hospitality is always appreciated.
