Hotel Sfinalicchio

The sea and food were fantastic. Puglia is the best place in the world for a holiday.

Really top-notch.

We had such a good time that we'll definitely come back this year. The hotel is ideal if you're looking to relax. Evenings are very quiet, though you can go to a nearby campsite for music, drive to the center of Vieste, which is very close, or visit other nearby campsites. The sea is just across the street, so you can be on the beach in a moment. The hotel also has its own beach club, which is convenient. There's a big, well-kept garden with a little playground and several tables, and the parking area is large and handy, so there was no stress about the car. Our room was clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent, with generous servings and care given to the details. The reception staff were especially kind and helpful. Many thanks to Rosa, the owner, and her husband. They're both delightful, and their passion and care for their work are easy to see.

The beds felt a little too firm for me at first, but the staff kindly brought me a topper, which made sleeping much more comfortable. I really appreciated that. The restaurant had a very simple, traditional feel to both the menu and atmosphere. That might suit people who want light, unfussy food, though I would have liked more variety and liveliness in the menu. The stay was pleasant, mainly thanks to the kind staff and the hotel's splendid seafront location, which made mornings especially nice.
