The location is nice, and the reception staff were very friendly. A couple of the restaurant waitresses were kind too, but most of the staff seemed to be inexperienced interns. They tossed food onto plates or served us while sighing and checking their phones. The bar was just a poorly maintained little corner, also run by inexperienced young staff. We stayed in the Paradiso building, which felt old and neglected. The rooms were small, the furnishings very dated, and the bathroom barely had a shower. The advertised “wellness center” wasn’t there at all. It was a closed room with exposed electrical wires. The “soft all-inclusive” was the biggest frustration. In practice, the hotel only offers full board. Otherwise, you’re left with a vending machine for sugary drinks, water, or coffee. Beer is only included with meals and on request. The beach itself is beautiful, but the umbrellas are packed about two meters apart, and the beach bar only sells sugary drinks. No coffee or beer, and everything costs extra. There was almost no entertainment, just one show during our whole week. Kids had no activities apart from a mini soccer tournament one afternoon. No other sports or recreation were available, partly because the entertainment staff seemed inexperienced and were often on their phones during the day. The supposedly warm pool, meant as a quiet place for people over 14, was full of children making a lot of noise. The lifeguard let everyone in, even during quiet hours. What the website promises is far from what we found. There were too many inexperienced staff and clearly no manager setting guidelines.

We spent a week at hotel paglianza from August 30 to September 6, 2025. There were five of us, my wife, me, and our three girls, and we brought our little dog too. We had a really lovely holiday that we’ll remember for a long time. Thanks so much to all the hotel staff. The food was delicious, the room was clean, and the entertainment was great. The sea was beautiful, and I didn’t see any litter in the water or on the beach all week. It’s just a short walk, or you can take the shuttle. The outdoor pool was lovely and very clean, and the heated indoor pool with its hydromassage option was very useful. Everyone at the hotel was polite, respectful, and helpful. There’s also a small playground and a little soccer or tennis court on site. The hotel’s setting is wonderful, surrounded by maritime pines. Clemente Davide dalla Valle d Aosta

Sara was exceptional, and the entertainment throughout the day was professional without being pushy. The place stayed clean and tidy, with pedal boats and canoes always available. We had a spacious, clean room that was tidied each morning, with fresh linens daily. I spent a week here with my wife. The sea was wonderful, just a five-minute walk or shuttle ride away, and the location worked well for visiting Peschici, Vieste, and other places nearby. The food was delicious, with fish at both lunch and dinner. There were three first-course choices, two second courses, lots of sides, and dessert at both meals. It’s a good fit for all ages. Families with kids do well here, and the entertainment also suits young people. The only downside is... don’t come here.

The beach and the low-key entertainment were excellent, and we had a perfect holiday overall. It’s especially good for families, and the value for money is hard to beat. The restaurant does get very crowded at mealtimes, and the rooms are a few years old. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the “Paradiso” building or at the beach. Even so, I’d recommend it.
