The owner was so kind and helpful, and the mini apartment was spotless. It's a beautiful place. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The apartments are close to Peschici Bay beach and just a short way from the steps up to the historic center. Supermarkets and other amenities are nearby, and there's a paid shuttle at the end of the street if you want to stay out a bit longer. The terrace has a breathtaking view, and the property is carefully kept, from the furnishings and comfort to the cleanliness. The staff were really friendly. They also run a little shop in the historic center with local products and invited us to visit. It's a shame breakfast isn't included. For guests staying only a night or a few nights who don't want to bring groceries, it would be nice to have an option served on the room balconies or terrace for a small charge.

The town itself is nice, but it feels like people there don't know how to make the most of it. We just left, and for once we were glad to be heading home. The sea view claim was misleading for our apartment. All we could see was a wall. You have to go up to the terrace to see the sea, and that's no use if it's raining. The owner never once saw us in the two days we were there. We checked ourselves in, with the door left unlocked and the key on the table. Completely crazy. Actual check-in happened later in the afternoon with a man who wasn't the owner. He gave us no information about the town or advice, and was very indifferent and rude. The cleaning lady was the only friendly, pleasant person we met at the property. If you have a milk allergy, bring something from home for Peschici, because there's almost nothing available.

The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, which was the one real downside. Otherwise, it was a cozy apartment with working air conditioning and a small kitchen that had what we needed. The beach, both the free stretch and the private beach clubs, is very close.
