Buena Onda

Getting there by train was easy, just a 10-minute walk from the station. We stayed four nights and had a great time. The room was what we expected, with a cute balcony and a big bathroom. We didn’t use the pool, though it looked nice. The hotel dogs were a personal highlight. If you’re lucky, you might see them around reception. Highly recommend.

The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and the price was great for a pet-friendly hotel. We stayed four nights, with easy access to the city centre and train station.

What really made our 11-night stay was the team. Breakfast ran like clockwork each morning, with a good choice of quality food, and it was clear the staff worked together. Reception were always helpful, and Alessandra had plenty of useful local tips. Communication from my first email right through to the last day was excellent. We visited during a very hot spell in August, so the pool and room air conditioning were very welcome after days out. Our suite was huge, with a fantastic balcony furnished with seating, loungers, and a shower. The hotel was spotless throughout and seemed recently refurbished, with high-quality fixtures and fittings. The location worked well for us, around 10-15 minutes on foot from the train station, bus stops, and town centre. If we return to the area, Hotel Buena Onda will be our first choice. I’d recommend this family hotel to anyone visiting Peschiera del Garda.

They even remembered my wife's birthday with a card and cake, a lovely touch. The staff are always there to help and make you feel like their most important guests. They also happily suggest a good restaurant and book a table for you. Our modern, stylish balcony room had air conditioning and a fridge. Many thanks to all the staff for a really nice stay on Lago di Garda.
