Nuova Barcaccia

The staff were kind, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very clean and has a lovely terrace, pool and poolside bar, where you can get snacks like toasted sandwiches and ice cream. Lidl is nearby for extra snacks, water and anything else you might need. It's a little outside town, though, and since a nearby pizzeria had closed, it was a half-hour walk each way. You'd need to be able to walk comfortably. Taxis and Ubers are available.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were very clean. It was a wonderful stay, with a quiet, peaceful location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Service was good and the rooms were as expected. The hotel is a long way out of town, so without a car it's either a taxi or a 45-minute walk.

We'd love to return. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the kids loved the well-kept clean pool, where they were still swimming at 8 pm. They also enjoyed the bar food, which was good and well priced. Breakfast took a few days to get used to: everything was cold, nothing hot, but it was okay. We stayed for a week, with two kids aged 15 and 11 and one adult. The air-conditioning could go down to 21 or 22, I can't remember which, and with it around 40 outside we had to leave it running to feel the cool. It cuts out if you go outside to the rooftop, so remember to turn it back on.
