The location is great, but I wouldn't stay again. The bed was uncomfortable, with a big lump in the middle, and the bathroom really needed a proper scrub. In the kitchen, the grout is pretty gross, and a dirty metal strip on the floor kept catching underfoot because it wasn't fixed down.

The beach is a good distance away, and the hosts were nice and did try to help. But when bed bugs started running around the beds and walls after our third night, we cut short the six-night stay we had planned with friends. The hosts weren't very solution-focused about the bugs, so we had to start the conversation about a full refund. We were lucky to get it in the end, though I think offering one would have been a nice gesture in that situation. The entire residence was under construction. It wasn't the host's fault, but with that kind of work going on, I don't think places should be rented. Maybe I'd suggest coming back in a few years, but definitely not now.

We spent four days here and found the accommodation a bit cramped for the number of people it was advertised to hold. Getting around is easy, with bus and train connections nearby. The pool is lovely, and there are two to choose from, though swimming caps are required. On site there's also a small shared shop, restaurant and bar, open in peak season. The pizzas were some of the nicest we've had and very reasonably priced.

On a beautiful day, this is a lovely little spot. I liked swimming a few lengths, then sitting with my book before having a coffee, and you can stay in the pool quite late. The bar is great, with a big choice of ice creams. Staff recognize regular guests and will even keep a tab open.
